Reiki principles

Reiki principles are at the heart of Reiki. Reciting these principles daily will help calm your mind and divert any negative thoughts:

Just for today,

I will not get angry

I will not worry

I will show appreciation and be grateful

I will work hard (on myself)

I will be kind to others and show compassion to myself and others

Over time, I’ve developed my own version of the Reiki principles:

Just for today,

I am in the present moment (no time, no space)

I am filled with gratitude (I cannot be fearful or worry and be grateful at the same time)

I accept, I do not resist, I surrender (using discernment)

I bring unconditional love and compassion into all situations

I bring simplicity into all situations

Reciting these principles help me remain at peace in all situations.
